Riki Fujitani is the founding President of DiscoveryBox, a division of one of Hawaii's top information technology service providers. Mr. Fujitani brings over 20 years of experience as a litigator, CTO and engineer to his position leading the development of DiscoveryBox’s integrated legal hold and e-discovery product.
Prior to joining DiscoveryBox, Mr. Fujitani served as Vice President of Information Technology for an $80 million property and casualty insurance carrier. Mr. Fujitani began his career gaining legal expertise as an attorney working on large and complex commercial litigation cases, involving product liability, construction, and breach of contract claims. He obtained advanced product management skills and first-hand knowledge and expertise in technology related sales, marketing, research and design from previous positions with IBM, Dimensional Fund Advisors and TRW Electronic Systems Group.
Mr. Fujitani obtained his law degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii (Manoa); his Masters of Business Administration from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California at Los Angeles; and, his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
