Randy Baldemor
President
Randy Baldemor brings extensive legal, corporate and sales and marketing experience to his role. He previously managed the sales and marketing department of DiscoveryBox, where he oversaw the development and implementation of the company’s sales and marketing strategy.
Before joining DiscoveryBox, Mr. Baldemor was Assistant Vice President of Claims for Honolulu-based Island Insurance Companies, where he assisted in the oversight and management of the Claims Department, managed the company’s largest claims, and was assigned to special projects for the company’s president.
Mr. Baldemor is a former litigation partner at Hawaii’s largest law firm, Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel LLP. As a litigator, Mr. Baldemor advised and defended companies in a wide range of matters, including admiralty and maritime, products liability, and insurance defense. His experience included representing major shipping and cruise lines in a diverse range of maritime matters, product manufacturers in product liability cases, and insurance companies in breach of contract, bad faith and ERISA litigation.
Mr. Baldemor obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Washington, School of Law, where he earned a graduate certificate in Global Trade, Transportation and Logistics. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, With Honors, from the University of Florida at Gainesville. He is a member of the Hawai’i State Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. He currently serves as a court-appointed arbitrator for the State of Hawaii Arbitrator Program (CAAP) and lawyer delegate to the Hawaii District Conference for the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii. He is an active participant in the 2008 Electronic Discovery Reference Model Project, and he is a regular speaker at industry-related events.
